About Course

M.D. (A.M.) stands for Doctor of Medicine in Alternative Medicine. It is a one-year postgraduate medical course that includes topics such as history, philosophy, and principles of alternative medicines, as well as elective subjects such as acupressure, acupuncture, aromatherapy, and chiropractic therapy Alternative medicine is used in place of conventional medicine and includes disciplines such as naturopathy, medicinal herbalism, reflexology, and reiki therapy. The practice of alternative medicine is legal in India under Article 19(1)/(g) of the constitution
